Hello

I started off calling this blog the Big Boned Cyclist, but I find now I dislike this term, just as much as  “Clydesdale”. A “Clydesdale” is a cyclist that is 200 lbs or greater, which I do fit the description. I think if someone sets a goal to cycle from doing zero to completing a sportive (50, 60, or 100 KM), just call him/her a Cyclist, and let the miles speak for them self.  Achieving the goal is what is important.

So what to call this blog, not sure, maybe Newton's Laws of Motion can help. Let’s just call it simply  “Mass in Motion”.  As I hope my mass will be reducing, the title will not have to change later on. Oh Crap too much of the nerdy stuff.

So what's this blog about, I love cycling (a bit of a bore about it), best get it all out here and save everyone else. I am using cycling to lose weight, manage my weight going forward and hopefully add a few years back on to lifespan.So the blog is about cycling and what I have leaned over the last three years, hopefully some of the tips maybe of useful to others.
